Over the years, Instagram has made several updates to their algorithm. Admittedly, they have informed us that while a person may be following our business profile on Instagram, they may not necessarily see all of our posts. This is in large part due to the fact that Instagram decides what to present our followers depending on their interests, past viewership and what they are posting.
So what are we to do?
Luckily, Instagram has also provided us with a feature that can ensure that our Instagram followers are seeing all of the content that we are sharing. This feature is called the Instagram Bell notifications.
Turning on the Instagram Bell notification for an account will ensure that an Instagram follower receives a push notification whenever an said account uploads a post, story, IGTV or goes LIVE.
But here’s the catch – as a small business owner with an Instagram profile – you can’t turn the bell notifications on…your followers must do this on their own.
Watch this video, to learn how your followers can use Instagram Bell notifications to ‘subscribe’ to your Instagram content.
Now that you see the steps your followers must take to turn on their Instagram bell notification – find ways to encourage them to do so. (Show them the steps in an IG STORY or perhaps POST a carousel with screenshots).
