Looking to the Future

December is the month for introspection and looking to the future. Many people are thinking about their resolutions, or looking back at what they accomplished this year. Finding ways to show your target audience that they should take you into the new year – or simply being open about your business’s growth in 2024 is a great way to connect and drive engagement.

A simple post asking your audience what their goals for the new year are can be great for your small business’s social media. You can also share a poll asking your audience what they want to see from you in the new year, whether that be content or products.

Customer Interaction

2024 was the year of user generated content and that trend is likely going to continue into 2025. Sharing testimonials, customer stories, and any form of UGC that you may have can help your target audience feel more comfortable with your small business.

Simply asking your customers to tag you in their content can be a great way to increase engagement. You can also consider creating a weekly or monthly “customer story” or shoutout. Using your small business’s social media as a tool for two way communication is the simplest way to get interaction. Give your audience the ability to be a part of your branding!

Pro tip: If you are using someone’s image or using personal information, please make sure that you get permission from the person.

Content creation is about connecting with your audience in a fun way. Social media is about connecting and creating a relationship with your audience. If you are unsure of the type of content your target audience is interested in seeing – simply ask. Create a post or story with a poll attached so people can share their opinion. We hope you try these content ideas and let us know how they worked to elevate your social media!
